Association by-laws state: "The Association in its Annual Meeting shall be composed of messengers elected by and bearing credentials (messenger cards) from cooperating Southern Baptist churches. Each church shall be allowed 3 messengers plus one messenger for each additional 50 members or major fraction thereof, not to exceed 12 messengers from one church." What does this mean? Each church may have at least 3 messengers, while missions will be included with the sponsoring church's total.

Example of messengers per church:

3-74 = 3 messengers (minimum)

75-124 = 4 messengers

125-174 = 5 messengers

175-224 = 6 messengers

225-274 = 7 messengers

275-324 = 8 messengers

325-374 = 9 messengers

375-424 = 10 messengers

425-474 = 11 messengers

475 + = 12 messengers (maximum)

Mission churches are in the total for sponsoring church
