East Texas Baptist Encampment is a place of great happenings.
Things are changing on a regular basis. As we change, people will be reached for Christ. Just as churches use innovative ways to minister, so will the camp. I can see a day in which our numbers will double. Families will be able to vacation in our family camping area, with choices of cabins, tents or an RV. Recreation will include swimming canoeing, ropes course, miniature golf, frisbee golf, volleyball, basketball and many others. Churches will attend camp worshipping in a modern tabernacle complete with multi-media equipment. My biggest question is, "What does God want to do with the
encampment?" Pray for me and the trustees as we make decisions concerning the ministry. Pray about your involvement as an individual and as a church. Retreats and Mini-Camps: May be scheduled by calling (409) 379-2737, or by writing East Texas Baptist Encampment 178 PR 7005; Newton, Tx 75966 Web: www.etbe.org E-mail: andy@etbe.org; james@etbe.org Andy Narramore is the Executive Director of ETBE

Churches are an important partner in the ministry. Listed are ways a church can become involved: * Pray for our staff, trustees and those attending the encampment * Become involved. Volunteer as an individual or church * Schedule a camp or retreat. Call the office and ask for Penny. * Contibute financially. Churches' giving is very important to the ministry and development. If any church does not have young people, giving to the camp can be the way you can help reach the younger generation. |
